I played a PROVERBS BALDERDASH type GAME: 

Give everyone small pieces of blank paper. Read the first part of the
prophet and have them fill in what they think it could be.   Collect them
and read them along with the correct answer and have them all vote and guess
which one is correct.   I threw a piece of gum or candy to those that were
correct and the wrong one that got the most correct points!

1.	Pride goeth before . . . (the fall) (Proverbs 16:18) 
2.	A merry heart doeth good like . . . (a medicine) Proverbs 17:22
3.	A soft answer . . . (turneth away wrath) Proverbs 15:1
4.	As he thinketh in his heart . . . (so is he) Proverbs 23:7
5.	When the wicked rule . . . (the people mourn) Proverbs 29:2
6.	Where there is no vision . . . (the people perish)  Proverbs 29:18
7.	He that is slow to anger . . . (is better than the mighty) Proverbs
16:32
8.	Whose keepeth his mouth and his tongue. . . (Keepeth his soul from
troubles). Proverbs 21:23
9.	The mouth of a righteous man is a . . . (well of life) Proverbs
10:11
10.	Wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging. . . (and whosoever is
deceived thereby is not wise.) Proverbs 20:1
11.	A good name is rather to be chosen than. . . (great riches)
Proverbs 22:1
12.	Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above. . .
(rubies) Proverbs 31:10)


I also have them try to write their own proverbs.
