[Teachldsseminary] emailing students

Another thing to consider and look into is the new church policy that no adult teacher is to email to a child under the age of 18........
This new directive was shared at our last Seminary training meeting. It was a difficult one for me as I used email all last year in my teaching and building of relationships with my students. I had emailed assignments, video clips, things of interest in the news, "good luck" on your test notes, etc. etc. etc.
I feel my correspondence with my students through email last year was one of the greatest successes I had in building a great foundation and also great follow-up to lessons.
I will miss this availability this year, but feel it necessary to be obedient to the directive. It was obviously given to us for a reason. If you haven't heard about it, you may want to look into it.
