I think that we are going to see this more and more with the outrageous gas prices.

In our case, the mom of our friend asked me because I am already an approved CES volunteer teacher.  I'm going to talk to the people above me though to see how to proceed.

  In my area, the CES personnel have called parents to teach their own children at home, when they live at a distance and travel is an issue.  This gives them official credit.
