[Teachldsseminary] (TEACH/QUESTION) home study/e-mail

I have a question about this. We have a dear friend who is a pretty big
celebrity and she is not able to attend seminary. She did D&C for her first
year, but missed all of last year and won't be able to attend for NT this
year, or probably B of M next year either because of her work.

Her mom would like to me to tutor her by e-mail and I would LOVE to do it
because I just adore this kid. I feel like I could adapt what I'm doing
each morning and just send assignments to her that she could send back to
me. I'm not sure why her ward hasn't offered something like this to her. I
would guess that if I contacted her bishop and asked why they aren't doing
this, they would find a way to do so, but it's something I really want to be
able to do for her. The advantage of having someone in her ward do it would
be if there are other home study kids she could meet with, but #1, I'm
pretty sure that there aren't others in their area of California that do
home study and #2 her schedule is just not compatible with other kids'
schedules.

So I would love some advice about how to proceed with this and would also
love to know about other resources that home study teachers are using. I
came across a website completely by accident last year and it was so cool.
It was done by a home study teacher in Marble Falls, TX and I can't find it
again. It had reading assignments and discussion questions and games.
Great stuff.
