Subject: [Teachldsseminary] ADMIN: Chicken Little part two
I think I figured out how some of the message bodies were blank. Since its inception, the list has tried to stay strictly TEXT ONLY. This is to keep any virus or spyware code from reaching list members through their inbox. Over the years, more and more email clients (e.g. Outlook) and free email systems (e.g. Hotmail, Yahoo) do HTML only. This means the list must convert the HTML to text only if the plain text does not come along with the HTML. Some clients send both types, plain text and HTML, in the same message, so it can be read by any type of client. (GEEK translation, multipart-messags)
I changed how the list processes these messages, to do a better job of processing HTML. I hope this resolves the blank message issue for everyone.
Best Regards,
Tim Holder, Webmaster
