[Teachldsseminary] OT: Callings Letter Date

I think I understand Teresa's intent. Being a "volunteer" seems to
come with a different set of rules. We have always felt free to ask
for the job, suggest (aka "lobby") other folks to be teachers, and
even quit or say "no thanks" without the attendant "guilt" of
rejecting an inspired calling. At least those were the terms as it
was explained to me when I was first asked if I would be interested
in "volunteering." Although I'm sure most of us have treated this as
a calling, and along with our priesthood leaders, have sought the
guidance of the Holy Ghost in extending and accepting the position,
it has been a different sort of animal. And I, too, am wondering if
that will change. One up side is, finally I can be formally set apart
with a priesthood blessing. I've missed that.
