I too am just in love with the story of Esther!!

For those of you that have more leeway about showing movies (we don't-but I 
know that some people can show whatever they think is appropriate) the movie 
Esther that is done by the Liken the Scriptures people is WONDERFUL!!  It 
closely follows the scriptures, almost line by line, has wonderful songs and 
some very memorable characters, like our friend Jeff Stephens who plays

I can't recommend this enough and wish that I could show it to my class.  I 
do really like the one on the OT DVD and I have to agree with you about One 
Night With the King, although it's so far away from the actual story in the 
scriptures that I wouldn't want to show it to seminary kids.

I LOVED teaching Esther!  Maybe because I had a four-day school holiday to 
prepare for it, I couldn't get enough of it!  I read the whole book of 
Esther THOROUGHLY, read everything in the teacher's manual, everything in 
the Student Manual, everything in the Institute Manual, watched everything 
on the new OT DVD, and watched the movie, "One Night with the King", on DVD. 
This is my new favorite movie!  Even though they changed the story some and 
added a lot more, the spirit and lessons to be learned are still there.  I 
wish the movie producers would make more movies from these Bible 
stories...they are great stories!  I told my students how much I loved 
learning about Esther, and the girls said maybe because she was a woman!  I 
hope you all have a great experience with Esther too!
