PROVERBS BALDERDASH GAME: Play like Balderdash - Give everyone a blank piece
of paper and have them fill in what they think goes with the beginning of
the proverb.  Read them all and have them vote on which they think is the
best and then read the correct one and see who guesses right.

 

1.     Pride goeth before . . . (the fall) (Proverbs 16:18) 

2.     A merry heart doeth good like . . . (a medicine) Proverbs 17:22

3.     A soft answer . . . (turneth away wrath) Proverbs 15:1

4.     As he thinketh in his heart . . . (so is he) Proverbs 23:7

5.     When the wicked rule . . . (the people mourn) Proverbs 29:2

6.     Where there is no vision . . . (the people perish)  Proverbs 29:18

7.     He that is slow to anger . . . (is better than the mighty) Proverbs
16:32

8.     Whose keepeth his mouth and his tongue. . . (Keepeth his soul from
troubles). Proverbs 21:23

9.     The mouth of a righteous man is a . . . (well of life) Proverbs 10:11

10.            Wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging. . . (and
whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.) Proverbs 20:1

11.            A good name is rather to be chosen than. . . (great riches)
Proverbs 22:1

12.            Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above. .
. (rubies) Proverbs 31:10)
