[Teachldsseminary] OFF TOPIC Updated 1st presidency and Apostlesong PLUS Video!

Thanks, Linda, I used this in class and it helped my class get to know the
Apostles much better. After using this, and the "fun story with pictures"
that was posted earlier, plus the beautiful opportunity of seeing
conference, it made these Apostles so much more "real".

It is so wonderful to liken the scriptures to our time. I find it has been
so wonderful to use current church affairs along with the readings of the
Old Testament lessons. We can really understand that Jeremiah (and his many
predecessors) had the same feelings of inadequencies, humbleness, and
overwhelmness (is that a word! ha!) that President Monson expressed at
conference.

It is so wonderful to see the kids get a testimony that the things in the
Old Testament are real......just as they are today. We are witnesses of
these things today, but can only live by faith that the scriptures are true.
What a testimony builder! How fortunate we are to live in this day of so
many talented and techological people.
