[Teachldsseminary] OT: Looking for idea for YM/YW activity on encouraging YM to serve missions

Oh didn't mean to help the Young Women to prepare for missions. My daughter is looking for ways that the Young Women can impress upon the Young Men the importance of them serving missions.
President Hinckley's quote is very clear that Young Women may serve missions, but are not under the same obligation as the Young Men.
Thank you!

You may want to review the scripture blocks from Jeremiah before you go too far on the planning. After reading and listening to some of President Hinckley's quotes on girls serving missions, do you think this should be the emphasis?
I am just curious of your interpretation of the video of him speaking and the same quote in the Teacher's Manual. I almost get the opposite feeling. Although it is a worthwhile endeavor, I am not sure that is what the emphasis is or should be?
Let me know how you all feel as I have been struggling with this this week as I have been studying for teaching this week.
Sincerely,
Tracy in Spokane
