I didn't make this one up, it's from another teacher but it's a great Feud
game!

OT Family Feud

>From Debbie Olson - We had 45 classes and 510 students answer the survey. If
you already know how to play, just move to the questions below.

First, before class pick the questions you want to use (about 10). I wrote
each question on a separate index card so I wouldn't get them mixed up or
get lost on the page. Set up the room with one table in the middle of the
room with a hotel bell in the middle of the table. If you don't have a bell
you can use a stuffed animal that the kids grab instead of ringing the bell.
You will also need a chalk board or write on wipe off board.

Second, when class starts divide the kids into two teams. It is very helpful
to have a scribe. I used my 8th grade daughter. Tell the scribe how many
possible answers there are for the question. She then puts that many numbers
on the board. One person from each team comes up to the table. They stand
with their hands by their sides. At any time they may ring the bell and
answer the question. Read the question and the first person to ring the bell
answers. If his answer is the #1 answer he decided if his team will play or
pass the question to the other team to play. If his answer isn't the #1
answer the other person get a chance to give an answer higher than the first
person's answer. Who ever gives the higher answer controls which team plays
out the answer. Have the scribe write the answer on the board with the
number of people who said it next to it.

Third, the team that is to play the question must give answers as
individuals and cannot talk to each other. Go to the next person and ask for
an answer. If the answer is correct add it to the board. If it is wrong the
team has a strike. You then move on to the next person. You continue until
they have given all the answers or have three strikes. When a team has three
strikes the other team can steal the points. They discuss the question and
give only one answer. If they are correct they stole the points if not the
other team keeps them. The points are the number of people who gave the
answer in the survey. Move on to the next question by calling up the next
person from each team. And continue until you run out of time.

Some questions had over 50 different answers. I used only the top 10 answers
for each question. If a student complains that his answer is not included
that is because it wasn't one of the top 10 answers.
