[Teachldsseminary] Seminary Jeopardy, the Perfect GC Review

We're on spring break this week, so I told my kids to listen to a session of
conference each day and take notes. We're done it for years, so they know
the basic categories--lists, stories, facts, etc. You can look up previous
games to see how it normally works. When we start next week, I'll do the
conference jeopardy with them. It's a perennial favorite! In fact, one of
the big sister graduates asked if she could attend next Monday, too, so she
could take the place of their mom and play. By tradition, we have a
non-parent be "Alex" and let the parents play with the kids as teams. Since
their dad is coming back from Iraq that weekend, we're letting their parents
have the day off and the big sister will even up their team. The jeopardy
game (which is generally posted just a few hours after the last session of
conference) is a perfect review. Plan a couple of days, because it often
results in stories and discussions causing it to go a lot longer than the TV
show version! One thing I'm going to add, if it's not there, is categories
for the priesthood session and the YW conference. They'll all have a chance
to either read or listen to those sessions by then.

PS This game also is a great activity for other organizations, too!! We've
used it in RS, too.
