[Teachldsseminary] Genesis 8:23

There are many additions (or new verses) in the JST as well as additions to
existing verses and word corrections. The reason that the chapters do not
match up (Genesis 6 compared to JST Genesis 8) is that for Genesis 1-Genesis
6:13 the actual JST is the entire book of Moses in the Pearl of Great Price.
There is a lot of background information on the JST on the link I sent
before as well as in the Bible Dictionary under Joseph Smith Translation.

Sorry, I did mean 6:18. My question is that it references
Genesis 8:23 of which there is none. Does this mean this
translation would actually be a new verse - Genesis 8:23?
I am going to get the Annotated Scriptures and I read the play
and loved it.

You will also find all the JST's for the Old Testament in place
in the
Annotated Scriptures so that you can see the KJV and the JST in
line. Also,
the script for the Noah play is on the blog and incorporates the
JST info.
It is there for anyone to access who might be interested.....
