[Teachldsseminary] Encouraging Class Punctuality

We have a stake seminary fireside before school  starts and the Stake 
President speaks about the importance of Seminary, parental  support, attendance and 
punctuality.  He outlines the Stake's attendance  policy AND hands out a 
letter to the parents signed by the Stake  Presidency.
 
In our inservice meeting last weekend, our CES  advisor gave us a number of 
quotes regarding the importance of seminary and  stressed that seminary was not 
"invented" or "designed" by CES but that it is a  Church program under the 
direction of the Prophet.  The curriculum and  policies are all under the 
direction of the prophet...........not just some  random man sitting in an office 
thinking of ways to torture teenagers   <--- okay, I added that last line.
 
My only advice would be to start on time no  matter how many students are 
there.  You might sing the opening song alone  and say the opening 
prayer..........they'll catch on.
