[Teachldsseminary] Adam and Eve

I've been out of town so this is late, but one of the fun things I did was
prepare a breakfast feast (sausage/egg casserole, fresh fruits, muffins,
donuts, various juices, milk, etc.) and had the laden table set off to the
side of the classroom.
Up front, I had a chair inside a circle (put masking tape on floor in shape
of circle). Outside the reach of the circle on another table, stood a
lonely apple. I had asked for a volunteer and selected a young sister to
sit in the hot seat. I handed her the tray laden with the fruit and told
her she could eat as much fruit as she wanted, but she could not share with
anyone else who was not in the circle with her, unless she decided to have
the apple (not any on tray). If she wanted the apple, then the whole class
would be able to partake from the breakfast table. Without even discussing
this with her previously, she milked the situation for what it was
worth--peeling the grapes before eating them, etc. for several minutes.
In one accord, the rest of the class began chanting, "Eat the apple. Eat the
apple." She finally reached for the apple and everyone erupted in cheers
and applause. After they settled down I then asked them how did this
situation relate to the Fall of Adam and Eve? One student pointed out that
we were more than likely watching from afar and chanting, "Eat the apple.
Eat the apple. When Eve partook of the forbidden fruit we probably erupted
in cheers and applause, too, because then we knew we would have the
opportunity to come to earth and obtain an earthly body."
They then ate heartily.

I'm teaching about the fall tomorrow. Anyone have any fun object lessons or
activities that you can share?
