[Teachldsseminary] QUESTION: First week ideas

This year on the first day I used Ken Alford's "Don't Say It" cards.
But instead of ~not~ saying the words below the person, place, or
thing - I said the words > gave the 1st person the 1st "don't say it"
word, if they didn't guess right then gave the person beside them the
2nd "don't say it word", and so on down through to the 5th word - or
'til someone got it ... when someone got it we subtracted the clue
number from 6 and that's the number of points they received. I'd put
the stack of cards into an order of easiest to hardest [didn't include
the SM cards as they didn't know them at all on the 1st day] - made it
through over half the stack. {Hope that made sense}
We'll use the cards as "Don't Say It" cards later in the year - but I
wanted them to start thinking about OT characters/stories/etc. Helped
them to remember things they'd learned in the past and also gave an
opportunity to bring out things they'd not known about and get a feel
for what they'd be learning. They really seemed to enjoy playing
this.

What are some of the things you like to do the first week of seminary
to set
the tone for the rest of the year?
