I've been teaching Seminary for a few years now and I hope I don't annoy
anyone out there by giving this caution: Don't use unapproved materials.
In fact, if you want to get technical, when you use non-LDS/CES approved
materials you are in violation of your volunteer agreement contract. When I
first saw the links for models of the tabernacle available online, red flags
went up. I actually wondered to myself how long before I would read posts
from people recommending links to books and videos describing/explaining the
tabernacle. I didn't have to read for long.

As long as I'm on my soapbox, may I add this: You don't need to be an early
morning talk show host for your students. You don't need to entertain them,
sensationalize things for them (the O.T. does a good job of that all by
itself!), or spoon-feed them. You don't need props, or media presentations,
etc. All you really have to do is be a facilitator to help prepare the
hearts and minds of your students for the witness of the Holy Ghost. Let
him do the teaching. Read the scriptures with them and to them. Help them
to ponder and think about those things. Share the words of the prophets and
your heartfelt testimony with them. Sound boring? Maybe.... It sounds
easy in a way, but it takes faith--especially in yourself. I'm in my 9th
year of teaching and I still struggle with it.

I have found many valuable things on this list, but there is often a lot to
have to slog through too. Slog wisely! :) Okay. I'm done.
