[Teachldsseminary] TEACH: Genesis 21

I mentioned it in relation to the sealing of the  Abrahamic covenant - it 
was a sign of being a child of the covenant.
Just like our ordinances today seal covenants we've made with God, 
signifying His promises to us and the promises we make in return.
In Judaism today circumcision is still required - at any age.  However, in 
our church a circumcised heart is now required instead.
It is similar to the Law of Moses in that outward actions were required back 
then as reminders of who they were, whereas today, it is the inward 
actions - the more spiritual vs the physical - that really count.
