I spent a couple of days on the Abrahamic covenent with my class as did someone else on the list.  I remember when I was the age of my students I just couldn't get what the big deal was.  It was exciting for me to go over things again, have some fresh insight and new perspectives, and be able to share it with the class.  When we were done they were actually able to see how it all applies to them in their lives.  It was a pretty cool day for me because I could look in the faces of my students and see a light come on.  The doesn't happen too often at 6 in the morning.
