[Teachldsseminary] TEACH Gen. 20

[The Spencers]

We pretty much skipped it.  When we got to Chapter 20, I mentioned it and said, "Shades of Egypt!"  The same thing that happened in Egypt with Pharaoh is happening again.  We mentioned that while it was not okay to commit adultery, it was okay to kill someone and take his wife.  I also told them this could be an event that happened again or the same event that ended up being recorded twice in different locations.  And of course, this story will be repeated again when you get to Chapter 26 with Isaac and Rebekah.  Little differences here, but essentially the same.
   
  After spending about 5-7 minutes on it, we went on to Chapter 21, highlighted a couple of events, and then went into Chapter 22.
