I did the exact same thing!  The guide is just that a guide and if we as
teachers feel prompted to  skip over certain things and put more emphasis on
others then we need to follow those promptings. I felt a real need to really
spend a lot of time on what the Abrahamic Covenant is and how it affects my
students today as most of them don't even know about it or its importance.

I just noticed that the Pacing Guide in the Teacher's manual shows us
spending a whole day on Gen. 20, but there is NOTHING
on that chapter in the Manual!  Anyone have any ideas?  I'm thinking of
spending more time on Abraham's and Isaac's sacrifice
instead of a whole day on Gen. 20.  Nora
