[Teachldsseminary] [11] Request: Lesson Ideas Genesis 6:1-4; Moses 8:13-15

I live in Canada. I have already told my students how it's affected by life
(despite the fact that my husband and I are happily married - 32 years).
When we were dating it didn't seem like such a big deal, but now - the
things I want most in the world, I can't have. I made my choice way back
then - it's now out of my hands. It's somebody elses' choice now.
But the worst thing, is what I've cheated my children out of. That's the
killer for me. No father's blessings, no father/daughter activities or
scouting trips, no father's counsel or family counsel, no father's baptism
or Priesthood ordinations, - no dad at the temple wedding, etc. etc. It's
brutal.
The short clip on Temple marriage from the O.T. DVD is good too. Pres.
Hinckley talks about this.
