When I taught the plagues before I set it up like an Egyptian museum.   I had 
jars with specimens of each plague.  Including a baby doll in one of  the 
quart jars.  For the boils I used small syrofoam balls - red food  coloring and 
glue to make it look like puss and blood.  Some of the jars  are kinda gross 
looking but the boys love that.  I found packages of flies,  frogs, grasshoppers 
(locust) etc.
 
You could include some of your class as tour guides to talk about each  
plague.
 
There are lots of "props" you can use for the OT.
