Thanks for this information.  My son came home from church and said that he was taught about Cain still being alive in class.  Supposedly big foot is really Cain in hiding.  I told him I had never heard that story and didn't know where to look to check it out.  Now I can follow up with him.

Anyway, this story used to be in the old DC manual but has since been taken
out because of it's spurious origins. (At a CES conference at
BYU...remember those?...we were told specifically to no longer teach this
story and that it would not be in the new manual.)
