There were NO messages received by the list manager on Thursday.

So one day goes by with no messages and suddenly everyone thinks they have
been dropped or are missing posts. In almost ALL cases, the problem exists
on the client end; e.g., spam filters, junk mail filters, uncontrolled
delete keys.

If you consult the list archives (URL below), you will find EVERY message
received by the list manager.

Do messages bounce? Usually for good reason. If you write your messages in
pure HTML, they may bounce. The list manager is set to TOSS messages with
too much HTML. Bad form! Don't include graphics, bullets, lists, or any
other HTML goodies in your posts. The list manager will TOSS them every
time. Another thing to avoid; those fancy signatures with flashing images
and smilies. Your message may bounce.

NOTE: these bounced messages will not show up in the archives. So if you
are not receiving your own posts; physician, heal thyself, or at least your
message content.

Second ISSUE: Posting from an unregistered address

If you send a message to the list from ANY OTHER address than the one
registered, your message will be tossed. Simply put, your not a list member
if you send it from one of your OTHER addresses. Outlook and others let you
send from umpteen zillion different accounts with the same interface, but
the list manager CANNOT be so forgiving. This is an anti-spamming
technique; so send from the correct address, please.

Finally, these restrictions might seem to make the list hard to use, but
they are in place to make the list EASIER for you to use. If I relax them,
the list would be inundated by the most vile and nasty spam, which you all
do not want to see. Instead, they go to my inbox, where I delete them.

Thanks for listening!
