I would really like a copy if there is one also. I'm in Kansas and our
Bishop recommended that we stay home and watch it on BYU (we only had
Sacrament meeting due to the snowy conditions earlier) BYU did not
broadcast it. My personal opinion of New Years is stay home where it is
safe no matter the time. It's too dangerous to be driving out and
about on that holiday and we drive a fair distance to church. I was
more than happy to obey the Bishop and stay home. He called us later
and apologized for telling us to stay home and is looking for a copy
for us. We were looking forward to it. My daughter had a non-lds
friend over and I was looking forward to introducing more of our
beliefs with her in a nice casual environment. We fondued and we were
going to eat in front of the TV. I wish it would have been on BYU for
her benefit as well. I wonder why it was not broadcast?

Subject: [Teachldsseminary] ? about last night's fireside
Does anyone know if there is a place to get a printed copy (or a
tape) of
the talks from the New Year's Eve fireside for the youth that was held
last
night? It was so good, but only 5 of the youth and a few of the
leaders
attended in our ward. It's kind of sad that worldly parties and
celebrations
were
more important than listening to the words of the prophet! Oh, well...
Thanks, Sandy Smith in
Florida
