[Teachldsseminary] activity day

I did a great relay activity in the gym to review the 10 commandments.

I set up stations at each station the student had to do the activity
then say the commandment.

1. No other Gods before me. They had to put on some goofy clothes,
wigs, and fake jewelery say the commandment then take the pieces off.
They had to put on at least three items.
2. No Graven images...I had them pick up a trophy and say the commandment
3. Say the Lord's name in vain..this one was hard. My daughter came up
with taking a piece of bubble gum and blowing a bubble.
4. Sabbath day: I had cups of Ice cream already scooped. They then
had to make their own Sunday but the toppings were ketchup, salad
dressing or salsa...then they had to take a bit and say the
commandment...this one was really funny to watch them.
5. Honor parents...with kazoos they hummed enough of Love at Home that
we could recognize it.
6. Not kill: The were to take a toy dart gun and shoot a cup.
7. Not commit adultery: They were to move kissables with a teaspoon
from a bowl to a jar
8. Not steal: I had two teams going at once so they were to run across
to the other team's table and steal their can of soup, bring it back and
set it on our table. So basically they were switching soup back and forth.
9. Not lie: Eat an Oreo cookie, say the commandment
10. Not Covet...I had a large tug of war rope stretched out across the
gym. As one person finished, they were to grab the rope then the next
person on their team could start. The first team with all of there
people there, could start tugging...and say thou shalt not covet.
We challenged another class in the building. A little bit of work to
set up but the kids had a great time.
