There is an online resourse that I find invaluable in my teaching. It's a
little awkward to use until you get used to it, but I'll give you a few
hints of things to do on it, and then you can play around and discover it
for yourself.. Bible.cc
WWW.BIBLE.CC
When you get to the opening page, you will see a list of the books in the
NT. Click on the text above that which says "(switch to OT)"
Now you will see a list of the books in the OT.
Use the pulldown menu to select any chapter you wish. Click on it and it
will take you to that Chapter.
Now, here is the cool part.
Right above the scripture, you will see a menu bar that says "PAR HEB LEX,
etc.
click on the HEB
Now it shows you the verse, but when you put your cursor over a word, it
tells you what the Hebrew word is, how to pronounce it, AND all of the
different possible deffinitions for that Hebrew word.
NOW click on the LEX on the menu above. This breaks the verse down into a
Lexicon showing the hebrew word and deffinitions for the whole verse. These
are great to print out for the class when studying a specific verse.
To move around to different verses in the Bible you can click the arrows on
the top menu Bar.
Another interesting thing is if you click on PAR it shows you all of the
different translations for that particular verse, from the different
versions of the Bible.
This website is VERY helpful. I hope you find it as useful as I do.
