The classroom presentation is done by each teacher with "their" students in
attendance in that class. That way both the students and the parents get to
meet the teacher and get a small taste of their teaching style and see who
else is in their class. We just give each teacher a list of the plagues and
let them develop whatever they want to -- for approx. 20 minutes.
iPoditus
Tardyitus
Sleepyitus
Talkingitus
Missingitus
Cell phoneitus
Makeupitus
Assignmentitus (devotionals, class offices, etc.)
Dressitus
Illiterateitus (that one is kind of lame but it lets us talk about the
reading program)
Cultural Hall -- each table has a number above it so that people can do them
in any order as long as they put their answer next to the right number
Sling shot and 5 small stones -- David and Goliath
Pair of scissors and cut hair -- Samson and Delilah
a coat on the floor -- Joseph and Potipher's wife
12 stones stacked -- Joshua crossing the Jordan
a floating ax -- Elijah miracle
Cruse of oil -- the widow and Elijah
Serpeant on a stick -- Moses in the wilderness
A plate of broken bread -- Manna
Rainbow -- God's covenant with Noah
A mirror with flowers around it -- God created us in His own image
A small sack of wheat wtih a "chalice" half buried in the wheat -- Joseph's
brothers returning to their father
"Joshua" is going to go over the answers before he "parts the waters" and
lead them into the chapel. You'll need a couple strong singers (parents and
students) to begin singing but then everyone joins in.
