[Teachldsseminary] QUESTION: Quotes that goes along with SM

I would post the list, but they are all in Dutch! And the numbering of the Dutch manuals and the English manuals are not corresponding with each other. But they are just quotes taken from the text of mostly the students manual, that goes with each section in the DC of the SM. When I couldn't find a quote that I liked in the student manual I just went to the teacher's manual. For the ones that I couldn't found a quote for I haven't found a solution (although I could take a look at the Institute manaul, or some commentaries online at www.gospelink.com) I asked the list to help me and I got a reply from Carolyn. This is what I got in an email from her:

There is also this great site at http://scriptures.byu.edu/ where you can try to find quotes that were taken from General Conferences for each verse in the Scriptures. 

I would also recommend again this great site http://www.gospeldoctrine.com/DoctrineandCovenants/DCindex.htm where you can find quotes that goes along with verses in the DC (until DC 120).

I would recommend to go through either the .pdf file of your student and teacher manual, and just copy and paste a quote that you like. 

A .pdf file of both manuals is available at the CES teacher's recources CD and at the www.ldsces.org site, after signing in. At the ldsces.site you can also just go online and find your manual and just copy and paste the text. 

In order to get rid of the HTML-formatting of a copied text I also just go to 'notebook' (is that the English translation of that option in Windows?), and just paste the text first in that screen. Then select the text again, copy it and then paste it in the program that you want to use (like Word).

Okay, I know.... a complete list would have been easier, but this is the best that I can do :)
