[Teachldsseminary] IDEA: DC Prophet Posters

I am new to this forum but I have a comment to make here. This website does
have some really good ideas, but in my experience which isn't a whole lot,
but I've had this experience a few times now, is that most of the ideas I've
read are a lot of work and I still have four kids at home. Many of the
ideas I've read just wouldn't work for our situation and with my particular
students. Just this week I tried one of the ideas posted. It was a very
spiritual idea and it put us in the scriptures for a good amount of time and
fostered the idea of seeking the spirit and trying to understand how the
pirnciples applied to our lives. It sounded great. But guess what...it
bombed. I didn't follow inspiration from the spirit about what MY class
needed, I just thought this sounded great. Personally, I probably won't
renew my membership just because it takes me away from really seeking for
the spirit to tell me what my class needs. Anyway, I know there are many
who use lots of ideas and have success with t hem but I just wanted you to
know that I don't think you're missing out since CES gives us soooo much
material and forums like this help and are free! And $35 is a lot for me
too!
