One of the most compelling researchers and authors on the calendar of
all times is John P Pratt who has written for Meridian Magazine. His
work is extensive. I haven't had the chance to read it all. But he
writes about why Moroni came to Joseph Smith on September 22nd.

He writes about what every Mormon should know about astronomy.

He seems to be a very careful researcher, understanding his World
History, and documents his work meticulously. I cannot recall all
that he has said about April 6th, beyond the birth date of the
Savior. But he states the resurrection to have occurred on April
3rd. http://www.meridianmagazine.com/sci_rel/010426bands.html<http://

Also, he and another researcher independently feel the First Vision
may have occurred on Sunday, March 26, 1820. http://

I don't know that Brother Pratt has ventured into the realm of Adam
and Eve, but there is so much he has ventured into it. And always
documents his findings.
You can go to the Science and Religion archives from any of these
articles. Look on the right column for this.
Enjoy!
