I had an experience today that I knew you Seminary teachers would enjoy.  I 
was teaching about witnesses, -yes, I know I am behind, we start the second 
week in September and I do a lot of things up front to make me successful 
the rest of the year, and I will catch up - but anyway, I was doing the 
exercise suggested in the teaching outline about the contaminated water. 
Well, to say the least it was not going well.  The kids were more worried 
about whether it was true or not and about the water they had drank that 
morning.  I was about to give up and just move on when one of the boys in my 
class spotted a raccoon trying to join us in class with his paws and nose on 
the glass door in our room that leads outside.  He was the only one that saw 
it and as soon as he saw it and mentioned it, it was gone.  Wala, I had my 
example.  I asked how many believed him. And how many would believe if 
someone else had seen it.  The timing was impeccable.  I could not have 
planned it and had it work out that way.  Just one of  God's tender mercies. 
The student was so embarrassed that he had mentioned it, but I assured him 
that it was great and couldn't have been timed better.
