Subject: Re: [Teachldsseminary] QUES: Lesson plans
Besides the wonderful material in our training manual... I have also
located two very good articles that can be accessed through the CES
website:
Once you have signed on - go to "teacher/administrator link", proceed
to "other links", scroll to bottom of page and click on the link to
"The Religious Educator", click on the link to "public library".
From here you may search for two separate articles by Alan R. Maynes
on the subject of Questions Invite Revelation.
I have spent considerable amount of time studying these two articles
and highlighting them, that I might learn to apply these teachings
little by little in my teaching. Remember, this is a skill and
talent that can take many years to fully develop, but I believe is
worth the effort. We really are blessed to have access to these well
trained individuals and the resource of their many years of
experience that they are so willing to share with all of us.
"How to Ask Questions That Invite Revelation"
"Creating Questions That Invite Revelation"
You will really enjoy this resource if you have not been there
before. Here you will find many articles on every subject imaginable
to assist in your gospel studies. As well as many more articles on
teacher training... I hope this is of help.

May I also recommend Boyd K. Packer's excellent book "Teach Ye
Diligently"
