They are useful and helpful up to a point,  as one young man in a  class I 
was teaching found out sadly.  Then, they are not and it's all  over.
 
 We were scripture chasing and he was just about to make the  critical team 
point to win; and then. . . . . . his screen went  blank!!  The batteries died. 
 He had no back up and charger.  His  team mates insisted he use the printed 
scriptures from then on.  They  didn't want to take any more chances.
 
:)  It was a great teaching point about always being prepared ahead of  the 
calamity.
 
Just a thought.
