[Teachldsseminary] Electronic scriptures

I have a young man in my class who uses a palm pilot to read his scriptures in class. I am new to teaching seminary, but I haven't found it to be an issue in my class so far. Of course, he's a bright, well-behaved student (for the most part) and is always actually following along with what we're reading as opposed to playing a game or something. I can see how it could be a distraction and a little more difficult to make notes, etc. But I have learned that, depending on what electronic version he has, you can mark the scriptures and make notes etc. I'd say it's a judgment call. In my case, most of the students don't even take their scriptures home, they just leave them in the room for the next day. At least he's carrying his scriptures with him wherever he goes... that's how I look at it.
