[Teachldsseminary] Looking for Story from Elder Eyring

I'm looking for a story that I know I read several years ago that was in the seminary material (and I can't remember which course of study) that was related by Elder Eyring about his father who was suffering from cancer and struggled to get out of bed to pray. His dad said afterward that he knew why he was suffering so much, it was because God needed strong sons. Can any one direct me to where I can find this story? Thanks for the help.
