Dear Marty,
If you (or anyone else) can't open the file by left clicking on it - try 
right clicking on the attachment and choose "save target as" (the exact 
words vary from browser to browser) and save it to your computer where 
you will be able to find it and open it.  These kinds of problems have 
to do with browsers and software configurations etc - so the solution 
can vary a little for each person - but I hope that helps!  Let me know.
