The Annotated Doctrine and Covenants is an on-line resource that
incorporates quotes from the Institute Manual, Teachers Manual, Student
Manual, Teachings of the Prophets and the most recent conferences as well as
General Authority talks to CES teachers and administrators. (Oh, and
MormonAds, too!) In addition it is cross referenced with six volumes of
Church History with biographies provided for most of the individuals named
within the 138 sections plus our current Quorum of the Twelve. Rather than
just reading a quote from the Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith you will
be linked to his words within the context of church history -- you can see
what brought about a particular quote and what might follow. It is provided
to make your daily preparation and study easier.
Hope that helps.
