[Teachldsseminary] Teach: Articles about Articles of Faith in the New Era 2005, and our theme for next year

I was just browsing through the New Era's online, and found a lot of great articles that could be used, as background information for our DC lessons. There are some articles about the Articles of Faith, that can be found in the New Era's of 2005.

You can just do a search at www.lds.org - Gospel Library - Magazines - New Era, and type ' Articles of faith', in the search book on top of the screen.

I was touched by a line in the article 'This recruit does not swear, Sir!', in the Oct. 2005 New Era. It says: 'No matter how hard some things might seem at the time, if you try to do what's right, you'll have the Lord on your side. And with Him on your side, nothing is impossible'.
I think I will use that for our theme next year: 'If you try to do what's right, you'll have the Lord on your side'. And I will put in smaller print "And with Him on your side, nothing is impossible'. There is this hymn "Who's on the Lord's side'; on the CD 'Hymns for the soul', from 'Soul Saints', you can find a more modern version of that hymn. Alex Boye is one of the singers of this group, and he is a famous LDS singer.
