The following is the information I put behind the little windows for them  to 
open each day.  The Keyword is on the back of the door so they have that  
reminder also.  We say the keyword, read the scripture and read/talk about  that 
day's personal application challenge.

This Fast Sunday bear your testimony that Joseph Smith did  see the Father 
and the Son 
 
1:37-38  
Share with your parents your feelings that the Doctrine  and Covenants is God’
s word and something you want to study  carefully.  
 
8:2-3
Select a principle of the gospel that is difficult to understand,  and pray 
to understand it.  Listen for the prompting that you can feel in  your mind or 
heart.  
 
10:5
Identify a personal weakness, and continue to pray to the Father  until you 
have overcome it.  
 
14:7
Help a friend or family member who is having trouble keeping God’s  
commandments see the value of being obedient.  Make a commitment now to  work toward 
obtaining eternal  life.

Invite a less active friend or non-member to attend Church  or a Church 
activity with you  (This is a good time of the year for  this challenge because 
there are more ward activities planned)

Thank Heavenly Father for sending the Savior to make repentance  possible.

Organize a family activity to sing Christmas Carols

Secretly provide some worthwhile Christ like service for  someone who

Be a  good example of keeping the Sabbath day holy each Sunday for at
least a  month

Go to a friend who has hurt your feelings  and work out  your problems

Make a commitment now that you will always pay a full tithe.   Go to tithing 
settlement with your family.

Record your testimony of Jesus Christ in your journal.
Share  your testimony with your family.

Show your appreciation for the gospel by helping  more   at home.

List in your  journal the blessings you have received because you keep the  
commandments

Show your appreciation for your home teachers and worthy  Priesthood holders 
in your family by making them a treat or  ornament.

Evaluate your sleeping habits, and strive to follow the  counsel to go to bed 
early and rise early.  Be on time for  Seminary.

List in your journal the blessings you have received from the  Lord because 
you keep the Word of Wisdom commandment

Assist your Seminary or Sunday School teacher with their  calling.  Ask them 
to assign you part of the lesson this  week.

Choose  a lesson from “Preach My Gospel” to study and share with your  
family.

Choose a commandment you need to keep and strive to keep  it.  Record your 
progress in your journal.

Live today so the Holy Ghost can be with you all day.

Decide now to do what is necessary to be worthy of an eternal  marriage.  
List in your journal the qualities you will want your eternal  companion to be 
sealed to in the Temple.  
 
137:7-10
Pray with your family and express thanks to Heavenly Father for  the birth of 
his Son, Jesus Christ, the Atonement and the promise of the  Celestial 
Kingdom.
