[Teachldsseminary] Question on memorization of JSH

My daughter and I memorized this last summer.  I typed up the verses and
reduced them to fit on a 4x5 index card (half of the verses each side of the
card)  Then I typed up the corresponding verses - first letters only.  I
then cut out and taped the first letter sheet so that it was right above the
actual verses - taping it down on the left side only.  I then had a card
that I would take everywhere with me.  If I got stuck using the first
letters all I need to do was to flip the paper back and I could see the
verse - then I'd flip back.  As I got better - I'd try doing it without
looking at all - using the 1st letters as I got stuck.  

My daughter is using the goal of memorizing all 25 for a PP goal - and she
recited this at our Young Women in Excellence program - everyone was
suitably impressed!!

If I can do it - anyone can.  It just requires a LOT of time (it did for me
anyway!!).
