My entire preparation is this list, the seminary files website, the CES
manuals and then one outside resource--the David Ridges D&C Made Easier
series. I can't say enough for the help he gives in explaining things,
giving background and historical insights, etc. I have his whole
series. I got called to be the adult SS teacher starting when I return
this fall, so I've order his new Old Testament books, too. I think I
have his whole series, they're so helpful. But nothing can replace
personal prayer and scripture study as the best help. Good luck! janet
PS I also just went to the Church Distribution Center in SLC (my kids
are at the Provo EFY right now, so I'm having fun being in Utah!! I
purchased two 3-DVD sets for $6 each--one is Church History and the
other info and testimonies of all the prophets. There were a few other
DVDs I got, too, but I think those two sets will be the most useful.
With the CES DVD and these, we'll have movie day practically everyday!
