[Teachldsseminary] SURVEY: Seminary Incentives

Dear Veteran Seminary Teachers,
I am interested in what incentives you have used for passing off  Master 
Scriptures, Being on Time, Prepared Devotionals, Answering Questions etc.  I 
used "Spiritual Beans" last year (Pintos= $1.00, Red=$5.00 etc) and I held a 
Seminary Auction at the end of the year. I know many teachers use some form 
of Mormon Money, I don't want the incentives to overshadow or distract from 
the real prize of learning or to be so complicated it takes a lot of money 
and time to support it.  Any simple, successful ideas that go with 
D&C/Church History would be appreciated.  I have been considering using a 
General Store idea either throughout the year or at the end instead of the 
Auction.  I am thinking to have items that might have been found in a 
General Store in Joseph Smith's time period such a Yo Yo's, Peppermint 
Sticks, Red and Black Licorice Ropes, Marbles and such things.  I was 
considering at the end of the year in place of the Auction having a General 
Store where the Students could use whatever medium I use for incentives and 
have someone teach the Students how to play Marbles, make Honey Candy and 
dance the Virginia Reel.  Any ideas or experiences will be appreciated.
