[Teachldsseminary] Teach: Classroom Seating

I have used "Luck-of-the-Draw" seating for several years now. I draw names
randomly for each seat at all the tables (35 seats). Sometimes I do it in
class, other times I do it at home and announce the changes in class. We
change seating weekly, or even more often, as needed. The kids don't
complain because they know it won't last for long and chances are reasonably
good they will get to sit by at least one friend.

Subject: [Teachldsseminary] Teach: Classroom Seating
I decided not to have a seating chart this year... and
already see problems. The new to the ward student
sitting next to the "I'm so shy I don't talk to
anyone" student.... the sleepy student who just needs
a moment or two to wake up next to the "what's wrong
with you poke poke poke " student.... You get the
picture.
So without having a static seating chart... I wondered
if anyone had creative methods for determining seating
that will vary week to week?
Thanks in advance!
