  • Show the picture of Moroni in Joseph's room and finish the story till he went to the hill to find the plates.
  • Show the calendar and turn through the pages four times to show how long Joseph had to wait to get the plates.
  • Show the picture of Joseph receiving the plates.
  • Ask why they think Joseph had to wait so long.
  • What do you think YOU will be doing four years from now?
  • Bear pure testimony about the Prophet Joseph Smith and The Book of Mormon.
  • Hand out paper and pens and have each person write their own testimony
  • Roll all the papers in a tight roll that will fit inside the bottle.  Cap it and seal it by lighting the candle and dripping melted wax over the lid.  Write the date in four years to be opened on the outside of the bottle.
