David Lemmon decided he would one day become a professional artist at age six. From his very first coloring books, to his vibrant oil paintings of today, David has always exhibited a passion for making beautiful pictures with attention to light and color. He has over eighteen years experience with the oil medium, and is dedicated to life-long learning, creating, and teaching.

“I love and admire the the great artists of the late nineteeth century like John Singer Sargent, William Merrit Chase, John Waterhouse, Anders Zorn, and many many more. Their way of seeing and painting, a perfect blend of realism and impressionism, excites the eye and enlivens the heart. I desire this effect in my own paintings, and invite the viewer to join with me in this celebration of life, light and love.”

David holds an BFA Degree in Illustration from Brigham Young University and has been mentored by many of the greatest painters in Utah. He currently lives in Spanish Fork, UT with his wife Deborah and their two children.
