I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil. It has always been my passion and love. I grew up most of my life in sunny Los Angeles, where art is everywhere. I enjoyed taking all different kinds of art classes and being influenced by the art around me. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Illustration. During my college years is where I learned the most about art and the business of art. I am always greatful for the knowledge I gained from my professors at BYU. They are an inspiration to me. Since high school, I have illustrated a few books and magazines such as The Friend Magazine and The Magical Melting Pot. You can view my work at www.alvinakwong.com.
