2007 YOUNG WOMEN RESOURCES

We have had a rush of Young Women art collections in the Download Depot, and now many of those wonderful designs have made their way onto LDV stickers! Each sticker pack comes with 48-50 stickers for $2.00. With the Young Women's General Meeting on March 24th, this is the perfect time to use our art collections and new YW stickers to focus on the theme - "Let virtue garnish thy thoughts . . . " I've put together a chart for the keywords of D&C 121:45 and the definitions of the words, which can be used for a preparation activity for the upcoming broadcast.

NEW PRIMARY STICKERS

PRIMARY ART COLLECTION

As we mentioned above, Melissa's darling 2007 Primary Theme Collection was in our February Download Depot Club - well - now that it is March - that collection is available separately in our store - for instant download at $6.95. It is so fun - one of my favorite parts is the bulletin board border of children holding hands - http://latter-dayvillage.com/proddetail.php?prod=2007PrimaryTheme

MUSIC NEWS

May's Song Idea is now online - An Angel Came to Joseph Smith - this is another Powerpoint presentation - but we have included links to every picture I used so if you'd rather do it with hand held pictures, that is great!

We added a pdf version of the presentation for "I Know that My Redeemer Lives" for anyone who would prefer to print it out.

Debra also fixed a problem with the Music Motivational Chart - all my footprints were right footed! So it looked like someone was hopping toward performance readiness! I changed it so every other footprint is left-footed. I hope it isn't too late for some of you to print out these footprints again.

Debra added a number of song ideas to the Knowledgebase - in case you need them for suggested sharing times.

THEME POSTER

The Monthly Theme Poster for April is online and is once again so beautiful.

SEMINARY NEWS

MARCH MADNESS

It really is March Madness time. Linda Harper's 2007 DC March Madness is now online in the filing cabinet, and we made several past versions available here for reference. NOTE: the basic game outline and play does not change, only the clues, which should be DC based this year.

The madness is in the consequence slips that a player must draw when they miss a basketball shot. From personal experience, this activity can get your students into scripture mastery or class learning like nothing else. Just say "when we finish this (activity, lesson, test) we can play March Madness for 10 minutes. You keep your teams scores (and members; they change) running throughout the month of March. It is the right carrot to dangle, a WINNER.

FREE DOWNLOADABLE DC SM RECORDINGS

Then pass the CD's out to your students, asking them to pass the CD on to a classmate after they upload to their player. These clips are designed to Debra Woods Hamilton, a consumate voiceover talent, to be entertaining enough that words will really sink into your students memory.

DC Scripture Mastery Takes Stage! - Doctrine & Covenants Scripture Mastery TAKES STAGE! The scriptures like you've never heard them before!
