Dear User:
Welcome to another edition our Latter-dayVillage's seminary newsletter. You are probably one of the following:
Whatever type you are, we have lots of stuff to help you throughout the coming curriculum year. First we will focus on new shopping cart info and then on the filing cabinet contents.
We created a new Bargain Scripture Mastery Bundle. This combines:
These together create a fantastic set of Scripture Mastery tools for the budget conscious. You get literally hundreds of games and activities at some pretty good savings. But wait, there's more. We also give you the ability to add any of our musical scripture mastery resources to the bundle:
and pass even more savings on to you. That's correct, you can purchase a bundle without music, with one music CD, two music CD's, or all three music products, all on the same shopping cart page.
NOTE: we also added the same music selections to our existing D&C Scripture Mastery Starter Pack based on Ken Alford's Scripture Mastery Resources!. What more could you ask for?

Annotated Scriptures
Ringing endorsements are coming in for our new Annotated Scriptures:
"I have spent some time today working with the annotated scriptures you have done. Words cannot express how impressed I am with what you have done. You have put together the best "Scripture manual" ever produced in the Church. It is better than any commentary, because you ... are quoting from authoritative sources and not muddying up the water with your own opinions." - Jack Ruston, Director of Institutes for Southern California, retired
Try this fantastic resource tool today; you get a week to poke through and decide for yourself if it will enhance your teaching this year. Visit your membership page today and select the Annotated Scriptures free trial. Note: The Doctrine and Covenants is now complete, all they way through the Articles of Faith!

We have one filing cabinet category dedicated to new teacher advice. If you are a new teacher, even if you have received instruction from your stake or area supervisor, we invite you to benefit from the sage advice we have gathered.

One of the most popular and lasting methods of memorizing the scripture mastery verses is to use Janice Lee Griffith Tate's D&C Magic Square. Complete with instructions and pictures, the method uses sign-language type movements and a square of verses to help students quickly learn and review. Teachers find they have the most success when they learn and practice the movements so they are accomplished before the school year begins. Then your students will amaze you with how quickly they will master the reference and keywords Start today!

MarGene Von Forell Lessons
We are slowly adding MarGene Von Forell lessons for the Doctrine and Covenants to the filing cabinet. Slowly, because there is just so much there that it is taking hours to prepare everything. Her second day lesson, which should be ready in a few days, has links to over ten other articles, which we have almost completed. Then we will start from the Plan of Salvation and DC Overview, add the prophets (so you can get a head start on planning them into your schedule if you want to teach on their birthdays, see MarGene's DC Church History Preparation Outline), and then start on the rest of the lesson blocks. Watch the Latest Articles section to see where we are in completing this monumental task.
Reminder: MarGene's lessons were a separate product on PrimaryETC.com last year. They were priced just below the same price as the complete filing cabinet, making your subscription all the more valuable!

MarGene's People and Places Cards
One of our big projects already complete is converting MarGene's People and Places cards from photocopies to printable and editable copy. This is now done and you can download the package in either/or Word .doc or Adobe PDF formats. The cards are invaluable tool for helping students keep the players and places straight while studying the D&C. The files are contained in self-extracting archives, so based on your connection speed, plan enough time to get what you need. Note: we are deciding whether to offer these cards as a pre-printed product. If you would like to be able to purchase them already made, please click our product request form link available on any shopping cart page.
That is all for now. More good summer preparation information will be coming in our next seminary newsletter.
